The client is a New York based, vertically integrated real estate operating and development company with expertise in a wide array of value creation activities, including distressed investments, uncovering value in complex transactions, structured finance investments and real estate development.

Based on the cloud assessment, SNP identified that 28% of the client’s servers were running on legacy operating systems or systems nearing the end of life. These unprotected servers posed a security risk and would be vulnerable to potential outages, breaches, and lack of support.

SNP Technologies conducted a comprehensive cloud assessment of the client's existing infrastructure to understand their business and technical needs. Based on the assessment, a detailed cloud migration roadmap was created, which focused on leveraging a Hybrid Cloud strategy for enhanced stability, security, and high performance of the client’s workloads running on Azure IaaS.

SNP leveraged Azure Governance to establish a controlled, secure, and efficient environment for the client’s cloud infrastructure. By implementing various Azure tools and strategies, SNP ensured the client could manage their Azure subscriptions, control costs, secure access to resources, and meet organizational policies.

By implementing various Azure tools and strategies, SNP ensured the client could manage their Azure subscriptions, control costs, secure access to resources, and meet organizational policies.
    • SNP implemented a set of integrated security tools within the Azure Security Center to ensure that the client’s infrastructure was protected from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
    • As per the client’s requirements, Hybrid connectivity was established by connecting the Azure Virtual Network (VNet) to the client’s private cloud. SNP ensured that both environments could communicate securely and efficiently.
    • By leveraging Azure Security Center, Log Analytics, and other security tools, SNP ensured that the client’s environment was secure and compliant with industry standards, protecting workloads from threats and reducing risk.
    • Through Azure Cost Management, the client had better visibility into their spending, enabling them to optimize costs and improve budgeting, while ensuring they stayed within the allocated budget.
    • The establishment of secure hybrid connectivity between Azure and the private cloud provided the client with the flexibility to operate in a hybrid environment while maintaining performance and security across both platforms.
By leveraging Azure Governance and a range of security and hybrid connectivity tools, SNP provided the client with a robust and secure cloud environment. This approach enabled the client to maintain control over their Azure subscriptions, optimize costs, and meet organizational policies, all while securing their workloads and ensuring high-performance hybrid cloud connectivity. The integrated security features ensured the client’s infrastructure was protected from threats, and the hybrid cloud setup gave them the flexibility to scale and operate securely across both on-premises and Azure environments.
